Nichole Austion is a strategic marketing and communications executive, engineer, author, and longtime advocate for equity in STEM education. A Howard University School of Engineering alumna, she brings over two decades of experience architecting inclusive, community-centered initiatives that expand access, elevate underrepresented voices, and inspire the next generation of innovators.

Nichole has led high-impact teams across the nonprofit and advocacy sectors, most recently serving in senior marketing leadership roles at the National Math and Science Initiative (NMSI). She is also the founder and CEO of Bright Chatter Marketing, partnering with mission-driven organizations to build brands, narratives, and campaigns that foster belonging and measurable social impact.

A committed STEM champion, Nichole designs and supports programs that ignite curiosity in young minds—especially girls and students of color—through storytelling, hands-on learning, and culturally resonant experiences.

As Board Chair of the PINK STEM Foundation, Nichole brings visionary leadership, governance experience, and a passion for empowering youth to dream boldly and lead confidently in STEM fields.
