Her current position is the STEM Director and Robotics Coach of surrounding groups in Atlanta Metro Area. She began her journey for mentoring youth in 1998 for the Boys and Girls Club in Augusta GA. She volunteered there several summers as a tutor and mentor. Upon graduating high school with Honors in Augusta Georgia, Tamika joined the US Air Force following her dad’s footsteps. During her tenure she was an Air Traffic Controller Supervisor and trainer (5 years), she then held a position as a Cardiopulmonary Laboratory Supervisor (Respiratory Therapy Concentration) for 3 years. Tamika has obtained multiple degrees in both fields including Education. She has been honored with a Honorary Doctor of Christian Humane Letters for her Community Service from the School of the Great Commission Theological Seminary in 2023 . She volunteered as a Big Brother, Big Sister also while in the military.” After separation, she volunteered once more at two BGCA’s. Tamika Head’s next journey began as an Educator. She has taught Algebra, Honors Physical Science, Honors Chemistry, Earth Science, Social Science, Computer Science and her favorite Anatomy and Physiology. She is currently teaching as a Honors Science Teacher in Warner Robins, GA and operating this organization simultaneously. Tamika is the CEO of Government Education Consulting Business PEEC (Pink Engineering Educational Consultants, LLC) which hires Engineers, IT Professionals (www.pinkengineeringedu.com) and Medical Professionals through her company to consult educators and students. She also is a partner with multiple employment agencies within the government sector nationwide and community service organizations. She is the proud wife and mother of 3 daughters. Her girls enjoy equestrian riding, dance, gymnastics, theatre, and of course STEM! Her oldest daughter desires to be a Psychologist.
